In late 2023, my mom gave me her Canon EOS Rebel XS that she had since stopped using. A lot of my work is experimentation but I hope to put together some more cohesive and structured projects in the future.

On a day when I wasn’t under the stress of an immanent deadline, I took the camera on a walk around campus and documented what I saw. Pictured are a few angles of the building I earned my degree in, as well as a long shot of the Teacher’s College.

Night In

I decided to bring the camera to a hangout with some friends. I gathered some valuable practice with moving subjects. I was constantly playing with the settings and changing lenses trying to make the most out of the time that I had, without going out of my way to pose anybody.
